My approach to portraiture is a little different than some others.

I like kids to be kids. I like to capture natural moments. I like to get them laughing and smiling and hopefully forgetting that a silly lady with a camera is following them around. Above all, I want the entire experience to be fun for everyone.


No, you're not the first family to have kids with energy to burn.


No, your children are not the first ones to bury their heads in their mother's sweater or take off running across that wide open field.


No, you're not the first family to have just a touch of craziness at their portrait shoot.


And yes, I really do love kids that jump, spin, squeal and even stick their tongues out.

Because at the end of the day, I really believe that from those little bursts of craziness, comes just a touch of magic.
